Clara is trained in various acting methods, including Meisner, Neutral Masks, Commedia dell’arte and Physical Comedy. She trained at Bard College, TISCH, Wellington Actors Studio, the A.R.T. and Improv Boston. She is currently a member of Broadway Haven Players, based in New York City, and is a background talent with Boston Casting. Recent roles have included None from Waiting for Gogo and Didi, Celia from Love/Sick, and Hero from Much Ado About Nothing.

While at Bard College Clara performed under the direction of JoAnne Akalaitis in Orestes. She attended the TISCH summer program in Paris, France and was accepted to Shakespeare and Company .

She has studied under Jean Wagner, Naomi Thornton, Rosemary Quinn, and Will LeBow.

Clara trained at the Wellington Actors Studio in Wellington, New Zealand, in the Meisner Technique. She instructed a Meisner for Teens class upon completion of her training.

Clara currently practices with Improv Boston, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
